The Point Pleasant Police Department is investigating several residential daytime burglaries that have occurred during a three day period. On Wednesday, June 13th, 2012 a home in the 200 block of River Ave was burglarized. On Thursday, June 14th, 2012 an attempted burglary occurred in the 1100 block of Sunset Ave and a burglary occurred in the 1300 block of Sunset Ave. On Friday, June 15th, 2012 a home in the 1200 block of Bay Ave was burglarized. All burglaries occurred during the daytime hours while the residences were not occupied. Jewelry, cash and electronics were stolen from within.
Although the police department is working on several leads generated through the investigations, residents are encouraged to report any suspicious subjects or vehicles to the Point Pleasant Police Department at 732-892-0060. Any residents who have information regarding one of the burglaries are requested to contact Detective Ed Miller or Detective Michelle Hill of the Point Pleasant Police Department.
